Customers Satisfaction:

Version Manager in Arbela (USA)

As the original instigator of our investigation into your Version Manager product for Business Objects, I would just like to say "Thank You".  Your organization and support process has been outstanding and it has been a pleasure working with you.  Eric has kept me in the loop on all aspects of the "proof of concept" and from what I have been told, it has been a great success thanks to you all.

Based upon what we have experienced, we are very comfortable and confident that VM for Business Objects and Infosol will meet or exceed all of our expectations.  Please feel free to use us as a reference as we will be happy to recommend both the product and your organization to any other Business Objects users.

We look forward to continuing a strong relationship with Infosol for now and the foreseeable future.

Thanks again

Best Regards,

Enterprise Manager in Land's End (USA)
Honestly I think things are running fairly smoothly =)
We have the tool rolled out on almost 1200 desktops all feeding a single server which feeds a single schema. We have 110,477 unique activities over a 3 week period so losing a few files here are there with a hiccup or two with the initial install is actually pretty good.

We are attempting to save just over 1 million dollars in upgrade costs (500k+ for the new processors and 500k+ to update software since we pay by CPU for most of our Mainframe applications, so this doesn't include man-hours) in our MVS1 environment by moving some data to our MVS3 environment. By using the Enterprise Manager I have been able to identify the reports being run, by who, which universes are our biggest "offenders" and which Universes receive the most traffic. As a result we are targeting a 30% reduction in CPU utilization by moving our most active and largest DB2 tables that Business Objects users query against which should give us the breathing space we need to get through until next year.

The tool has already paid for itself many times over and we are very grateful for the effort your team has put forth.
