NEW LOOK for WIP Version Control Version 2.0

We present all our existing customers with a new look for WIP Version Control Version 2.0!

The new look is in line with our brand scheme and provided opportunities for front end optimization and standardization of the menu and page options.

Additionally to quality improvements we have optimized WIP and SAM processing time by splitting up the processes to demand based processing.

We've added some new features to WIP Version Control for Qlik:

  • Comprehensive modern look overall
  • Release Manager: You can now define release managers per business unit to receive publication requests from users who do not have publication rights or who’s applications do not pass the quality control requirements.
  • Publish Scheduler: You can now schedule publications
  • Improved impact analysis and added impact analysis global views to WIP Governance Application

We've added some new features to WIP Version Control for SAP:

  • Support for SAP BI 43SP4

  • Bulk Replacement Universe

  • Fixed: Multiple checkout/check-in of WID files

  • Fixed: SAP processor

Section Access Manager (SAM):

Section Access Manager (SAM) was in line for a major overall and we have completed the work, with a sincere thank you to one of our largest SAM customers and also the largest bank in Africa. This implementation pushed the performance of SAM to the next level, added additional features:

  •  External table: You can now point SAM to another system to read a table/view for section access. This broadens our integration to existing section access databases and Governance Risk Compliance Systems
  • Control which admins receive new on-boarding requests
  • Instant off-boarding of a user from selected applications
  • Improved UX, alerting, notifications and email alerts
  • Improved group user rights assignments
  • License consumption statistics & notifications
  • Latest scan date added to active control view
